How can we help?
The most common questions about mypacing 2.0 – and how to reach us if nothing here fits. Write to hallo@mypacing.app; people answer there.
Getting started
iPhone
Get mypacing from the App Store. Requires iOS 17 or later.
Android
Download the file directly from our Android page. Requires Android 8.0 or later.
In the browser
The web app runs without installation. Values from Apple Health or Health Connect only come through the apps.
Just have a look
The demo shows mypacing with made-up values – no account needed.
After you sign in, the app asks whether it may read values from Apple Health or Health Connect. You decide for each value separately. After that, a short check-in a day is enough – plus a look at the day plan if you like.
Signing in & password
I already have an account from an earlier version
Your account still works – with the same email address and password, or the same sign-in with Apple or Google. All values stored so far are there.
Forgot your password
- In the app or web app, tap Sign in and enter your email address.
- Choose Forgot password? If an account exists for this address, you will receive an email with a link.
- Open the link and set a new password with at least 8 characters.
No email? Please check your spam folder. The link is valid for a limited time; otherwise simply request a new one.
Signing in with Apple or Google
Use the same option in the app as the first time. If you chose “Hide my email” with Apple, your account belongs to that relay address.
Values from Apple Health and Health Connect
mypacing reads steps, distance, energy, floors, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation – whatever your watch or tracker writes there. If nothing arrives:
- iPhone: Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → mypacing: switch on the values you want.
- Android: open Health Connect → App permissions → mypacing: allow the values you want. On Android 9 to 13 the “Health Connect” app needs to be installed; from Android 14 it is built in.
- Check that your watch’s app (for example Garmin Connect, Fitbit, Samsung Health) passes its values on to Apple Health or Health Connect.
- Open mypacing: syncing runs when you open the app (at most every 30 minutes).
Moving to mypacing 2.0
From 12 October 2026 at 00:00 (Europe/Berlin), mypacing 1.x can no longer sync with the server. Please update to 2.0 beforehand. On iPhone, iOS 17 or later is required. On older devices you can use the web app; it cannot read Apple Health values. Your account and stored values are kept.
mypacing 2.0 is a fresh start in design and focus: a companion for exertion and recovery in everyday life that compares your values with your own history. Your account and all previous values are kept.
- After the update, sign in once more – with the same login details as before.
- On first start, the app shows you the new legal texts once for your agreement.
- On iPhone, 2.0 arrives as a normal update from the App Store.
- On Android, download 2.0 from the Android page and install it over the previous app.
- The former website and its sub-pages no longer exist; old links lead to the matching new pages.
Downloading your data
In the app under Me → Download all data (JSON) you get one file with everything mypacing stores about you (Art. 15 and 20 GDPR). You can save or share it.
Deleting your account and data
How to delete your mypacing account with all data – for the app on iPhone and Android and for the web app:
- Open mypacing and sign in (app or web app).
- Tap Me at the bottom and scroll down to the Your data section.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Without the app: Write from your account’s email address to hallo@mypacing.app with the subject “Delete account”. We delete the account and confirm it to you.
What is deleted
Your account, login details, all daily values, check-ins, day plans, notes, activities and signed-in devices. Copies in backups disappear after 14 days at the latest. Pseudonymised contributions to the shared analysis lose any link to you with the deletion; if you want them removed as well, please tell us beforehand. Details are in the privacy policy.
Permissions in Apple Health or Health Connect and the values stored there are not affected; they belong to your device.
Contact
